Students who received lower grades on their kindness essays will be allowed the opportunity to revise and resubmit their essay with appropriate changes. The maximum grade possible for the Redo is a C+. The redo is optional and only available to students who received lower than a C+ (77%)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Get back your original kindness narrative essay
2. Get back your original kindness narrative essay checkbric
3. Review both documents for feedback to see what you can change to improve your writing
4. If needed, ask questions from Mr. Chappell during Flex Friday or during REC period
5. Make appropriate revisions
6. Print Out the Revised Kindness Essay
7. Highlight new areas or areas that were changed based upon the feedback
8. Staple the three documents together in the following order:
a. Top page – The Newly Revised Kindness Essay
b. Middle page – The Original Kindness Essay that was graded
c. Bottom page – The original checkbric filled out by Mr. Chappell
9. Resubmit in class no later than Monday 5/1/17
