Final Grades & Fond Farewell

The Final Grades are posted with comments.

If you were unable to take one of the final exams, please come in during 1st hour on Friday, 6/15/18, to take it then.  This is the last acceptable option.

If you have turned in any late assignments for a late grade to Turnitin.com before Friday 6/15/18 (that is not already posted on Powerschool), please email me before noon on Friday with a notification of the late submission.

No late grades will be accepted after noon on Friday under any circumstances.

Guide to In-Text Citations and Using Quotations as Evidence

In text citation examples:

"blah blah blah blah blah,” (7).
NOTE:  The period always comes after the in-text citation, NOT at the end of the text within the quotes.

“blah blah blah  / blah blah blah ,” (9-10).
NOTE:  The slash shows the line break in poetry

“blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah,” (12, 25).
NOTE:  The ellipses shows a jump to another section within a quote.  Then use a comma in the in-text citation to show the break.

“blah blah blah [the weed itself] blah blah,” (13).
NOTE:  The brackets show an inserted helpful detail from the student
