Creative Paragraphs #04 Assignment
1) Pick your favorite original sentence that you wrote between sentences #51 – #60 (Direct and Indirect Objects). Which sentence were you most proud of?
Now, write a 100 or more word creative narrative paragraph built around the sentence you chose. Used a Google Doc. Let your imagination run wild and have fun!
You may choose to place the sentence at the beginning of your paragraph or anywhere in the middle or at the end. Highlight it yellow so that it stands out from the rest.
It's okay if you need to jump into the middle of a story and leave important information out. This is not a formal exercise.
Now title this paragraph “Direct / Indirect Object Creative Paragraph.”
2) Now, on the same document do the same for sentences #61 - #69 (Colons and Semicolons).
Title this paragraph “Colons / Semicolons Creative Paragraph.”
The two paragraphs do not need to be related, but they can be.
3) Now submit your two original paragraphs with your highlighted sentences to Turnitin.com under “Creative Paragraphs #4.”
These paragraphs will be due on the week we get back from break, Friday 1/3/20 at 3:15 pm.
DO NOT FORGET to
highlight both of your original sentences that you wrote during sentence composing.
