Sentence Composing #81 - 84 - Adjective Phrases



#81 Expert Sentence:
A woman of fifty or so, plump with frizzy grey hair, came toward them.

Anna’s Sentence
A kitten of two or so, chubby with fluffy orange fur, waddled before them.  

Olivia’s Sentence:
A boy of twelve or so, short with spiky blonde hair, sat down near them.

Ethan’s sentence:
A hockey player of about forty, fit with long curly hair, skated toward me.

Cole Karmanos’s Sentence:
A Riley Dorfman who was fourteen or so, mean with abusive cruel language, went falling off the cliff.

Erin’s Sentence:
Annoyed with the others because they were scared, she yelled at them.

Enzo’s Sentence:
Anger, loud and cold from their short and distant relationship, filled the bar.

Eric’s Sentence:
A dark cloud of rain, gloomy with lightning, approached us.

Nia’s Sentence:
The painting worth 200 dollars, colorful with detailed brush strokes, was bought by them.

Grace’s Sentence:
A boy five or so, young with lots of toys, played with them.

Temperance’s sentence:
A girl of eighteen or so, straight silk black hair, ran toward them.

Marki’s sentence
A picture measuring 24 x 36 inches or more, exploding with beautiful pink skies, was displayed to the people.

Jeremiah’s Sentence
A dog of three or more, tiny with pitch black fur, sprinted toward them.



#82 Expert Sentence:
Angry with themselves because they were frightened, they jumped first on Teft.

Bella’s Sentence:
Upset with himself because he was scared, he ran to his mom.

Zack’s Sentence:
Joyful with itself because it was cautious enough, it leaped first on the prey.

Catherine’s Sentence:
Annoyed with herself because she was startled, she ran into a stranger.

Max’s Sentence
Upset with ourselves because we were running scared, we turned back to the house.

Aadi’s sentence:
Happy with himself for winning, he dropped right into the scalding jacuzzi.

Katie’s Sentence
Excited to swim the one hundred free at the league meet, I hopped in the pool and started practicing.

Anthea’s Sentence
Worried for herself because of the shadow, she was first to take blame.

Mia’s Sentence
Upset with themselves because they had studied hard, they talked first with the teacher.

Ava’s sentence
Proud of their achievement because they had worked vigorously, they celebrated first thing the next morning.




#83 Expert Sentence:
Laughter, loud and warm from their long and intimate relationship, filled the room.

Katya’s Sentence:
Talking, obnoxious and loud even though they had just met, filled the room.

Ellie’s Sentence:
Screaming, loud and angry from their short and hateful conversation , filled the house.

Kiersten’s Sentence
Happiness,  bubbled with and delight from their short but sweet vacation, filled the airplane.

Trevor’s Sentence
Screaming, loud and happy from their fun and stunning game, filled the locker room.

Noah’s Sentence
Stop signs, simple and useful like a serrated and sharp blade, sprouted in the streets.

Emma’s Sentence:
Screams, roaring and demanding from calling the volleyball, flooded the gym.

Fern’s sentence:
Apples, shiny and sweet from the warm sun and plentiful water, cascaded from their trees.

Lilli’s sentence:
Anger, screaming and heated arguments from their loud fights, shook the room.




#84 Expert Sentence:
I stared at the trees, aware of an eerie silence descending from the forest.

Sydney’s sentence
I looked in the store, scared that all of my favorite clothes wouldn’t be on the rack.

Jack’s Sentence:
I turned away from the house, unaware of a dark shape slinking out the door.

Kai’s Sentence:
I stared at the lake, aware of a spooky howl emitting from the shadows.

Zak’s Sentence:
I gazed at the sky, mindful of the stars glowing from the night.

Sam’s Sentence:
We prepared for the game, unaware of our talented opponent entering the stadium.

Mallory’s Sentence:
She laughed at the boy, conscious that he was about to belly-flop into the pool.

Megan’s Sentence
She gazed at the beach, cognizant of the tiny crabs scuttling along the shore.

Iman’s Sentence
She peered beyond the fluorescent lighting, noticing a ghostly figure lurking in the shadows.

Josh’s sentence
I considered the lyrics of my new diss track, aware of the hate I might get from the community.

Evan’s sentence
I gazed at the beautiful night sky, aware of a itching feeling that I was not alone.
