Below are instructions for submitting the first assignment to Turnitin.com
You will be submitting your sentences in a MICROSOFT WORD file format. If you've been using GOOGLE DOCS, simply copy and paste from your working document into WORD at school.
Save the file name under the your last name followed by the words "001to050" -- for example, if my last name was Smith I would save my file name as "Smith001to050.docx"
Just use the default setting. On the physical document you don't need to change any of the margins or fonts.
Number each sentence with hashtag, the number with three digits, a period, and two spaces.
For example, "#001. [space] [space]"
Put a space between each sentence by hitting ENTER twice.
Do not include the letters A, B, or C when representing the sentence numbers. Just the numbers will do.
Do not include the mentor sentences. Only include your own original sentences.
Do not include slashes ( / ), brackets ([ ]), underlines, bolds, or colored text. Just plain black and white without formatting is fine.
Do not include what category of sentence it is. For example, you don't have to say "Complex Sentences" anywhere.
Don't Forget to include proper punctuation marks (commas, periods, etc.), capitalization, spelling, and proper grammar.
For example:
#001. This is the first sentence.
#002. This is the second sentence.
#003. The third sentence should be spaced like this.
Etc.
